...[in the New Testament] ... [when Jesus walked the Earth]
I’ve mentioned this before in a previous blog, so I won’t go on about it here, but I can only imagine how incredible it must have been to see and interact with God in the flesh. Jesus was undoubtedly kind, caring, and filled with compassion for everyone He met.
“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So He began teaching them many things.” — Mark 6:34
He healed the sick, taught profound lessons, and encouraged people to love one another. But most of all, He came to die for us—to save us from ourselves and our sin. Jesus succeeded in His mission, and because of His sacrifice, I can know Him intimately today, even though I didn’t live in those sacred times.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16
Now, we have the Holy Spirit living within us, guiding us, comforting us, and empowering us to walk in His ways. I’m truly grateful for every interaction I can have with God, whether through prayer, His Word, or the presence of the Holy Spirit. Even though I didn’t get to walk beside Jesus in the flesh, His presence is still real in my life today.
“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth.” — John 14:16-17
I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you!
