God…

It’s always God.

Shabbat Shalom to everyone here in RozieLand! Today is a very special day. It’s the day of rest! I think about God all the time these days, but today in particular, He’s been on my mind even more as I pray with a few of my sisters in Christ about some very important matters.

While I can’t go into detail due to privacy and the need to stay spiritually vigilant in these times of warfare, I can say this: it never ceases to amaze me how much the enemy despises it when we take a stand for God and Hist ways. The length he’ll go to try to discourage, distract, or stop us only make me press into God even more.

There must be something wonderful waiting on the other side of this trial—I just know it. I don’t want to miss it, and I’m holding on tightly to my faith as I seek God’s will wisdom. I’m listening for His voice, looking for His signs praying fervently, and meditating on His Word.

God’s Desire for Obedience and Blessing:

The beautiful thing about God is His abundant grace and generosity. He truly wants to bless us and pour out His goodness over our lives. What He asks for in return is our obedience—and not for His benefit, but for ours. Obedience to God opens the door to miracles and blessings while shielding us from the consequences of worldly choices.

Here’s why the Bible says about obedience and God’s blessings:

  • “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord you God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessing will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.” —Deuteronomy 28:1-2
  • ”Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” —Psalm 128:1-2

The Battle in Spiritual Warfare:

As I pray and reflect, I’m reminded of the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy’s attacks may feel relentless, but the truth is, we have already been given victory through Christ. When we keep our eyes on Him and trust in His power, we can stand firm against any attack.

  • “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” —Ephesians 6:12
  • ”No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord. —Isaiah 54:17

Listening for God in the Silence

Sometimes, seeking God feels like waiting in the quiet, but it’s in the stillness that we often hear Him most clearly. He speaks through His Word, through creation, and even through the circumstances of our lives. As I keep my heart and mind fixed on Him, I trust that He will reveal what I need to see, hear or understand:

  • “Be still, and know that I am God,”. —Psalm 46:10
  • ”Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” —Isaiah 30:21

God’s Abundant Grace

One of the most comforting truths about God is His never-ending grace. Even in the midst of trial, He is working all things together for our good. His plans for us are always greater than what we could imagine, and He is faithful to carry us through.

  • “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” —2 Corinthians 9:8
  • ”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” —Jeremiah 29:11

Final Thoughts

God’s grace, love, and presence are my constant companions, especially in this season of spiritual warfare he is so good to us, even when we don’t deserve it, and all He asks in return is for us to trust Him, obey His Word, and follow where He leads.

So, I’ll keep seeking Him, holding onto His promises, and pressing forward in faith. Whatever is waiting for me at the end of this trial, I know it will be worth it—because God never fails His children.

Let’s continue to encourage one another to seek Him in all things. It makes the biggest difference in the world, I promise you. He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)

Shalom Aleichem!

And, of course, I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you,

xoxo
