…Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
Come on, you’ve got to admit it—He’s the most famous being that has ever lived! Nearly every person has heard of Him, and for good reason. He is absolutely beautiful.
Think about it: Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth and lived the human experience. Why? To be closer to us. To reconcile us with Him. That kind of love and selflessness is beyond anything we could ever imagine, and yet it’s real. He is real.
Jesus didn’t just live an ordinary life. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and demonstrated what it truly means to love one another. Then, He did something extraordinary: He gave His life for us.
What Jesus Did for Us
Here’s why Jesus is not just my “celebrity crush,” but my Savior and Lord:
1.He Lived Among Us
Jesus willingly left the glory of heaven to live as a human. He experienced the struggles pain, and temptations of this world so that He could relate to us fully. As it says in Hebrews 4:15:
”For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.” —Hebrews 4:15
Jesus knows what its feels like to be human, and that’s why we can trust Him with our deepest struggles.
2. He Died for Us
Jesus’ ultimate act of love was His sacrifice on the cross. he willingly laid down His to pay the price for our sins (our wrongdoings). In Romans 5:8, we’re reminded of this incredible love:
”But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” —Romans 5:8
Imagine someone loving you so much that they would die for you—even when you didn’t deserve it. That’s what Jesus did for each and every one of us! Even if it was for just one person, He still would have done it!
3. He Rose Again
The story didn’t end with His death. Jesus defeated death and rose gain, proving that He is the Son of God and that He holds the power to give us eternal life. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 declares:
”Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is you sting? The stings of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” —1 Corinthians 15:55-57
His resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith. It’s the reason we. Have hope, even in the darkest of times.
Why It’s Important to Know Jesus
Jesus isn’t just a historical figure or a Religious symbol—He’s a living Savior who wants a person relationship with you. He deserves your attention, your admiration, and your love.
In the past, I didn’t understand much of what it meant to have a real relationship with Jesus Christ. My family raised me in The Word. Every Saturday, we would celebrate the Shabbat and praise God for all He’s done, including sending His Son to die for us. Yes, we believed in the Torah and the Master Jesus Christ.
God was always in my life, and I was in active communication with Him. And He would answer me; blessed me; warn me; teach me; comfort me in hard times. Still, there was a big part of me that held Him at a distance. I was just “living my life”, you know; like so many other people out there right now. I thought I could do some things without His “help”…I was looking at things all wrong back then.
My relationship with Him now is a 24/7 thing. I am never without Him and could never bear it if He’d left me. Thankfully, He has promised never to do that.
Check out this webpage from openbible.info, which features 100 verses where God tells us over and over and over again that he will never leave.
The reason I need Him with me all the time is simply this: He knows what’s best for me and actually wants to give that best to me…if I let Him; let him into my life. So, I decided to let Him into my entire life; every nook and cranny. It doesn’t matter what I do or say or who I interact with. All of my choices and activities in life has God in the center.
I tell and ask Him about everything, and in turn, He guides me to where He wants me to go. He never takes me to place that will cause e harm. That’s usually my own doing without Him. I’ve learned my lesson a few years back to never stray again. And since then, things have only gotten better for me.
I was always blessed and protected, but now, I acknowledge Him with my life and how I live each day. It’s like I’m walking in alignment with His will; or a least that’s what I’m striving to do. I hope that will involves me helping people; I believe it does.
If you don’t know Him, would you be willing to at least try and see if He is real for you? What have you got to loose by saying one prayer? Or just saying how you feel about Him. Here’s the thing: once you really get to now Him, you’ll never want to go back to a life without Him.
Jesus said in John 14:6
”I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” —John 14:6
He is the only way to true peace, joy, and eternal life. Now amount of fame, money, substance, people or worldly success can fill the void in your heart the way He can. Even without any of those things—having lost everything once—I was still very happy, because I had the source of all things: God, the creator of the universe.
How to Get to Know Jesus
If you’re curious about Jesus and want to know more, here’s how you can start:

Why I’ll Never Go Back
Once you’ve experience the love of Jesus, everything changes. He gives you purpose, peace, and a hope that nothing in this world can take away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says:
”Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” —2 Corinthians 5:17
That’s the power of Jesus Christ. He transforms lives, including mine. And trust me, life with Him is far better than anything this would could ever offer.
