…of having true faith.

Recently, I’ve been really talking with God about the challenges in my life. I’ve been asking Him a heap of personal questions, trying to understand Him more so that I can live the best life possible—with the hope of staying out of trouble and pleasing Him. My biggest dream is to be with Him when everything is said and done; a forever hug.

It took a long time for me to reach this level of contentment in my spiritual walk with God, but I’m here! Now, I’m building my faith on levels I didn’t think were possible. I’m really believing in God for any and everything, even the impossible! And God is an expert at achieving the impossible.

Lately, He’s been showing me how to utilize faith as a tool—not just as a belief, but as an active force in my life. Faith isn’t about seeing immediate results; it’s about trusting that God is working even when everything around me says otherwise. It’s about believing His promises, even when my circumstances try to shake me.

Hebrews 11:1 says:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

This verse reminds me that faith is more than wishful thinking—it’s a solid foundation. It’s trusting in God’s goodness and sovereignty, even when the answers aren’t clear.

God has been stretching my faith, calling me to trust Him in ways I never imagined. Whether it’s waiting for a prayer to be answered, stepping out into the unknown, or surrendering control over things I don’t understand, I am learning that faith is not about my ability—it’s about His faithfulness.

Jesus Himself said in Matthew 17:20:

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

That verse stirs something in me! God doesn’t need my faith to be perfect or massive—He just asks that I trust Him, even if it’s only a small step at a time.

I don’t know what battles you’re facing today, but I do know that God is asking you to trust Him in ways you might not have before. He’s asking you to walk by faith, even when you don’t see the full picture yet. Faith is believing that He is working, even in the silence.

If you’re struggling to trust God right now, hold on to this:

Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 – “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Mark 9:23 – “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

God is moving in your life, even in the waiting. Even in the unknown. Even when everything seems impossible. Keep believing. Keep trusting. He’s got you.
