...seedless grapes, seaweed salad, sea bass, goat cheese and kale.

I try to stick to mostly unprocessed foods since many things don’t agree with my body these days due to medical conditions. While I don’t always have the means to afford everything I need, I remain grateful for any food I receive.

Food is a blessing, and I don’t take it for granted. There are so many in the world who don’t have enough to thrive, including young children. The Bible reminds us of the importance of generosity and care for those in need:

“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” -Proverbs 22:9

Thinking of those who struggle with hunger convicts me, reminding me to be both mindful and grateful with every meal I consume. I make it a habit to bless the food before me, knowing that every provision comes from God. As Jesus said,

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” -Matthew 4:4

No matter how little or much I have, I trust that God will continue to provide, just as He promises in His Word:

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’–Your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” -Matthew 6:31-32

It isn’t always easy, in fact, a lot of times it’s very challenging to surrender ALL your cares to God–or anyone for that matter. But when you’ve learned that He is the source of all blessings, you understand that there isn’t really any other choice but to do so. And He never fails you. It may not be what you want, but it will be enough.

Thanks for stopping by once again!

I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you,
