...to be the kindest I've ever been so far.

Happy New Year

…to anyone who stumbles across this secret little website! My prayer for you is that this year will be your very best yet!

And congratulations, by the way. You’re one of few who even know this place exists! Welcome to RozieLand.com, home of The Human Abstract Gallery. Don’t worry, I’ll explain what that means shortly. First, let me introduce myself properly:

My name is Rosalyn Rose. I’m just one of the 8.2 billion souls inhabiting this big, beautiful planet we call Earth. Like so many others, I’ve made a New Year’s resolution. Truth be told, I’ve never been much of a fan of them. They’re often softly promises that fade by February. But this year, I’ve decided to make one that I can that I can throw my whole heart into: Im resolving to be the kindest version of myself I’ve every been.

And this website is part of how I plan to do it.

Here’s A Little History

Fifteen years ago, I created RozieLand without really knowing what it was for–or honestly, if it was even for me. It was a product of its time, born from my youthful experimentation and curiosity. Fast-forward to current day, and I believe God has finally shown me its purpose.

So…for Him, for YOU, and for myself, I’ve revived Rozieland. My hope is that this little corner of the internet becomes something meaningful for someone; a place where kindness and inspiration can thrive.

What is “The Human Abstract Gallery”?

Simply put, it’s YOU.

This gallery is a spotlight on the beauty of humanity. Out of the billions who share this world, I’ll be featuring a handful of extraordinary individuals–people whose uniqueness can inspire us all. My goal is to remind everyone, including myself, just how special they truly are. You matter. Maybe, alone the way, this space will inspire you to be even kinder, too.

So, Who’s First On The List?

God told me it’s ME!

Well, what do you know: my new year begins with myself. I’ve learned often that the fine art of self-evaluation never ends, though if done right, can one of the most constructive actions one can take during the course of their lives. So, allow me to introduce myself more formally:

Hi again–I’m called Rosalyn. I’m a flower; a life-long nomad, and though I’ve dwelled in many place around the globe, I’m fully aware that my true home doesn’t exist on this planet.

Already I’ve said a mouthful…Am I some kind of an alien? Perhaps, but in short, let’s say I’m just passing through; a messenger on a mission to reach those who are seeking something a little deeper: what is the meaning of this thing we call life? Aren’t you even the least bit curious about the real answer to that question?

Well, somehow, you’ve already found this secret place, so…stick around; maybe you just might find the answer to that question as well.

Thank you for visiting RozieLand!

I pray many blessings over you,

xoxo

p.s.

This photo was taken almost exactly 10 years ago, when the original website was up and running. I was living in Los Angeles, California. I’d made a video asking people around the city: what is the meaning of life? If I still had the video, I would show you it here, but unfortunately, it’s been lost the the internet cosmos for several years now, never to return to me. It was an very painful, undeserved time in my life. Maybe one day I’ll tell you about it. But I post this remnant of all that’s left of that day…to show you what was on my heart.

Still, I was asking this question, even back then. Now…I want to share what I have learned.
