...my God!

He is BEAUTIFUL! He so good! He is perfect! Everything He does is right and wonderful! I can’t even explain it properly because the words and descriptions do not exist. The best I can do is try to. I know, from the outside looking in, I might sound like I’m reciting some brainwashed banter, but I promise you, this is all coming from my heart. What’s in my heart comes from knowing Him in a personal relationship.

“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord. — Jeremiah 9:23–24

Knowing Him this deeply has changed my life forever. He was always there for me, even during the times I was living in the world–so lost, trying to have my own way. But eventually, all that caught up with me. And He was there to pick up the pieces. The last few years really had me thinking about His goodness towards me during my existence.

He was with me in every happy moment, through every struggle, even when I was so so low and wanted to give up. He didn’t let me. He truly is such a good, good Father. He always knows just what to do! That’s why I go to Him for everything now. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out or under control, because in reality, I don’t. And that’s okay, because I know The One who does, and He’s on my side!

Today, we’re in the middle of commemorating the single greatest gift He has ever offered us: to be with Him for eternity. It’s Passover, the Shabbat, Good (Best) Friday and Resurrection weekend! He died for us, taking on our imperfections and wrongdoings in this life, because He truly loves us—the most!

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

He was blameless and lived a perfect, kind and gentle, understanding, patient life. I owe Him everything because of that and everything else He’s done for me. He gave me life. He thought of creating me long before time began! He thought I deserved to exist! He thinks I’m beautiful.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” — Ephesians 2:10

How can I turn away from such a being? He is all powerful, but even if He wasn’t, I would still stay with Him, because I love Him for how much He cares! I love Him for His kindness and how humble He is when He doesn’t have to be. He is amazing.

“Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.” — Psalm 89:8

I wish I could really tell those who don’t know Him how beautiful God really is! But you have to be willing to take the step and find out for yourself. It isn’t my place to force you—just like God doesn’t force you. He’s so kind that He allows you to decide your own fate, even if it means He will lose you forever.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” — 2 Peter 3:9

That’s true love. It’s up to us to choose it though. What’s more important to you? The ways of this world—or The One who created it?

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.” — 1 John 2:15

I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you!
