...sleep in--with someone who truly loves me--surrounded by complete peace, followed by lounging in bed with a light, home cooked breakfast in bed.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve truly be able to relax for a full day, let alone a morning. Things have been mercilessly tumultuous for me over the past few year. And though I’m beginning to see the light at the end of this tunnel, it’s taken its toll. These days, I don’t want for much. Only…peace, surrounded by people who truly care about me–about who I am. I love to cook, but I also love having someone cook for me–especially if they actually know how to!

LOL. <3

I’m just kidding–or am I? I don’t mean to bash anyone. For me, it truly is about what comes from the heart, so if someone takes the time out to cook for me, I’d greatly appreciate because, not only is food a blessing, but, it’s also a blessing to have someone who desires doing it.

I suppose, in some ways I have that already. I wake up every morning, thinking of thanking my Elohim for another day to exist. It’s a marvelous thought in itself: that God says that I deserve to exist! I feel so worthy because of Him. He is always very kind to me.

28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30

He is my peace and my hope–my everything. I wouldn’t want to exist if He didn’t love me. I truly need Him every second of every day, or I’ve missed Him dreadfully. He supplies all my needs (including food, shelter and safety) and even many of my wants. He makes me feel like a princess even when things are very difficult.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:19

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
-Matthew 6:31-33

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” -2 Corinthians 9:8

This post is a short one, for that’s all I wouldn’t want to do if I had the option. No stress, good company, rest and rejuvenation. Just time to quietly reflect and show gratitude. And for the most part, it’s free and doesn’t even require getting out of bed. I would just rest, basking in God’s presence and His promises with those that I love.

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” -Isaiah 58:11

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” -Isaiah 26:3

This song by Michael Frank reminds me of my ideal perfect morning. The entire song is my vibe:

What about you? What would your ideal morning be like? Something more extravagant perhaps, or at you an introvert like me?

I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you!
