…Crumbl Cookie.
I enjoy sweets, but sometimes, my sweet tooth can get me into trouble. It’s usually a better idea to have fruit, nut butter or something with real nutritional value; one of many reasons I haven’t tried Crumbl Cookie yet (aside from the price).
But honestly, these days, I’m just grateful to have food on my table. In a world where many go without, I recognize what a blessing it is to have enough to eat each day. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us:
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
While I may have cravings for something extra, I know that what I have is already enough.
That’s not to say I wouldn’t enjoy treating myself one day. Maybe I’ll pass by a Crumbl Cookie shop and have the means to buy one. But even if I never do, that’s okay. I trust that God will always provide for what I truly need. Matthew 6:31-32 says:
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.”
I remind myself that life is not about chasing every desire but appreciating what is already in my hands. God has never failed to take care of me, and I trust that He never will. Philippians 4:19 assures us:
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Whether I ever taste a Crumbl Cookie or not, I know that I am blessed. And for that, I am deeply grateful.
