...freedom. I want to move.
Though I live in a nice, safe neighborhood, but unfortunately, I don’t have the best neighbors. I’m not writing this to badmouth or gossip about them, but to express that I feel unsafe around them every day. Despite being grown men, two or three times my size, they still choose to direct harm toward me.
I can’t wait until I’m healed and able to move away from this. That day will be a true spiritual breath of fresh air. I believe God will deliver me soon, so for now, I’m focusing on what I can control—healing, meditating on His promises, staying on the narrow path, listening for His direction, and following it.
Even in this difficult season, I know God is protecting and providing for me. He has been with me my entire life, but in these past few years, He has made His presence undeniable. If He hadn’t shown up for me in all the ways He has, I don’t know where I would be. And He’s still here—He isn’t going anywhere, nor do I want Him to. He is my only hope.
During Shabbat, I made a video about forgiveness (which is also very freeing) and posted it on my YouTube channel, discussing how we need God’s help for everything. We are truly at His mercy, whether we realize it or not. He is the source of all things good. Without Him, separation means nothing but curses.
If there is anything good in your life—even simply being alive—you should know that it comes from God, not your own strength. He is the reason behind every success and blessing. Just as He is protecting me now in this situation, He will be the One to deliver me when the time is right. Though I’m anxious and ready, I trust His timing. There is no safer place to be than in His mercy. He isn’t here to harm us but to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Right now, I know He is working on my future while holding me in the present with His righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 reassures us:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us to be strong:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 assures us that God leads the way:
“The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
If God is going before us, what do we have to fear? Exodus 14:14 reminds us:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Mark 5:36 echoes this:
“Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
And Joshua 1:9 gives us confidence in every step:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
This verse reminds me of Psalm 139, which declares that no matter where we are—whether in the heavens, on earth, or in the depths—God is there! He loves us that much. Imagine how much clearer and lighter life would be if we truly lived by that promise.
So, that’s where I am now—walking with God, despite my circumstances. The book of Job has taught me the power of standing firm in faith, not just because there are rewards after the trial, but because God knows what He’s doing, even in the storm. Romans 8:28 reminds us that His plans are always for our good.
When the time comes to share my biggest testimony, I hope you’ll be there to hear it. I believe this is happening not only to strengthen my faith but also to encourage others facing similar struggles.
Hold on. Stay on the narrow path. The enemy is trying to keep you from something, but don’t let him! Even if you stumble, get back up and run to God. He will take you back, just like the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). He will clean you up and set your feet on the right path. Don’t let the enemy win!
You were born with a destiny. If you’re still alive, then your purpose is still waiting to be fulfilled. Ask God to lead you to it, and pray that He allows you to walk in it just as He designed.
If I could purchase my freedom, I would. But fortunately, I don’t have too, because Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins to set us free forever. No curse can hold us because He paid the ultimate price. Galatians 3:13 declares:
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.’”
Because of His sacrifice, we are no longer bound by sin or strongholds. Instead, we are free and reconciled with Him. Through His grace, we can ask for help in this life and when our requests align with His will, He will answer. John 14:13-14 says:
“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
We don’t have to walk this journey alone. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us:
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Even in our hardest moments, we are not fighting alone. Jesus has already won the victory. Romans 8:37 declares:
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
This truth makes all the difference. When we know that Jesus has already won, we can stand firm in faith, trusting that our deliverance, our freedom, and our peace are already secured in Him.
