...hair gel for my mother.

Well—to be honest—I bought it using her funds, just through my Amazon account. Lately, I’ve been trying to save whatever money I can. With the uncertainty surrounding today’s economy, it feels wise to prepare. Over the past few weeks, I’ve focused on stocking up on food, just in case. But I’ve also had to remind myself of something important:

God has always taken care of me.

Even when I was completely immobile, alone, and unsure of how I’d survive, He never left my side. Through the help of others—and sometimes even in the quiet, with no one else around—He sustained me. I had a roof over my head, food to eat, access to healthcare, and clothing to wear.

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… your heavenly Father knows that you need them.” —Matthew 6:31-32

Through that difficult season, I grew closer to Him than ever before. I had more time to pray, reflect, and study the Word. I was able to build real friendships with people who also walk the narrow path—people I now meet with for Bible study every week. That shift in my life inspired me to relaunch this website and return to sharing truth and encouragement through my YouTube videos.

Had those struggles never come, I may never have reached this place—where God is truly the center of my life.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” —Romans 8:28

So yes, the last thing I bought online was something simple—a hair gel. But it represents so much more. It reminds me to be grateful for every blessing, big or small. And to trust that no matter what the economy or tomorrow may look like, God has already gone before me.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5-6

I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you!
