..God answered my prayers this week.
The last time I had an expectation that was met was when God answered my prayers this week. Yes—He’s been really talking to me, confirming His promises to me in such clear and beautiful ways. Just days ago, I prayed, and within hours, He gave me a preview of what’s to come soon into my life! I can’t say much about the details just yet because I want to wait until everything unfolds fully before I share. But let me tell you, a massive testimony is in the making right now! I’ve got a story that only God could write.
And while I’m waiting for the full manifestation of what He’s doing, I want to share some tips with you—things that have helped me experience answered prayers over and over again. These aren’t formulas, and God can move however He wants, but these principles have truly opened the door for deeper relationship and response from Him in my life.
Tip #1: Get Right With God
The foundation of answered prayer is relationship. If you don’t have one with Him yet, it’s time to start building that connection. He’s been waiting on you, and He will tell you exactly who He is if you ask.
James 4:8 says:
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
But God isn’t a genie in a bottle. He’s not looking for momentary attention in exchange for blessings. He wants your heart. Would you walk up to a stranger asking for favors? No. The same applies here. Start with a real, honest relationship.
Tip #2: Carry Your Cross / Walk the Narrow Path
Turning away from your old ways and deciding to live for God is a powerful act of love. It may seem difficult at first, but the truth is, the world’s ways don’t lead to lasting joy or peace. If they did, you wouldn’t be seeking God right now.
Jesus said in Matthew 16:24:
“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.”
And in Matthew 7:14, He reminds us:
“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
You’ll find real peace walking that narrow road. I know I have.
Tip #3: Forgive Others
This one is big. If you want God’s forgiveness, you’ve got to let go of that bitterness. No matter how painful the offense, you need to release it to God. He sees. He knows. And He’ll deal with it.
Mark 11:25 says:
“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
You’ll be shocked how light your heart feels when you finally let it go. It’s one of the best ways to keep your connection to God clear and full of power.
Tip #4: Pray According to God’s Will
This is essential. You can’t just pray for anything and expect it to be granted. That’s not how it works. You need to know God’s will—which means you need to know His Word. When you pray using Scripture, and you’re living in alignment with Him, those prayers hit different.
1 John 5:14 says:
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
And Isaiah 55:11 reminds us:
“So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
That’s why reading the Bible is crucial—it teaches you what God’s heart truly is, and how to pray in agreement with it.
God blesses all of us—yes, even those who reject Him—because He is love. But if you want intentional, deliberate, specific blessings, then draw close, walk with Him, and abide in His ways.
I pray this message has blessed you today. It was heavy on my heart to share, and if it’s for you—you’ll know. God is still in the business of answering prayers, exceeding expectations, and performing wonders in everyday lives.
So trust Him. He’s never late. Never careless. Never failing.
Romans 10:11 says:
“Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
And I’m living proof of that. He blesses me every single day. As His daughter, when I ask, I receive according to His will. He is just a good good Father.
See you tomorrow.
I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you!
