…stepping out on my own in faith.
I’ll admit, like so many, I was afraid to do that! I wasn’t sure if relinquishing my life would result in things becoming even worse! But, this decision changed my life forever in beautiful ways that I can’t fully share right now, as there are areas of my life I choose to keep private, despite how much of myself I’m sharing from the depths of my heart. But I can tell you this much: when I was all alone, and all I had was God, He did not fail me; ever.
Because of what He has done for me all of my life, I will never leave Him. He is The One who truly loves me the most and He always will. His love is just that perfect. And He’s The One who created me, so He would know how to do just right. But the fact that He loves me, for just being me—His guenueine kindness—is why I love Him right back!
”We love Him because He first loved us.” —1 John 4:19
His love is steadfast, unwavering and greater than anything this world can offer. I’m sticking with Him!
He blessed me with good friendships; people to commune and share joy with. He took complete care of me when I literally couldn’t walk or even stand on my own two feet (none was around to help me—but Him).
”And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 4:19
Even before I asked, He knew exactly what I needed and made a way. He has been wonderful to me. A true gentleman.
I will never forget how much He cared; how much He made sure I knew He did, even after people vanished and I was left feeling confused, alone. But I wasn’t alone. He—the most important element—stayed.
”The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” —Deuteronomy 31:8
Now, I share my entire life with Him. He remains at the center forever, for He has more than earned it. And don’t get me started on all of His promises! He never lies, but always keeps His word! I can testify!
”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5-6
He has shown me that trusting Him is never in vain. He is a good Father better than we can ever imagine. Even when we don’t see the full picture, He is working things out for our good (Romans 8:28).
I love Him, very, very much.
I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you.
And I love you too,
xoxo
