...God-Centered, Cleansing, Spring-Foreshadowing.
This past year, despite the challenges I’ve faced, I wasn’t facing them alone. God was there, and He still is—more present than ever. I am so grateful for that because I know that a relationship with Him is the greatest gift, the most important thing in all of existence. Through Him, all blessings flow.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” -James 1:17
He has been revealing this truth to me more and more over the years. Through everything, He has remained constant—teaching me, molding me, and guiding me. I’ve learned to stop taking everything so seriously and instead, to rest in Him. Lately, my heart has been filled with hope for the future, because I am walking with Elohim and His promises.
I believe His Word, no matter what happens. Even if I stumble into sin, I know I must return to my Father—not out of obligation, but because I would miss Him terribly. I know how much I need Him.
“The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, He saved me.” -Psalm 116:5-6
Cleansing: Learning to Trust in the Blind Spots
God teaches me something new every day, but one of the most powerful lessons has been learning not to bash myselfwhen I fall short. My walk with Him isn’t meant to be perfect, and I am not meant to understand everything. Instead, I’ve learned to trust Him even in the blind spots of my life.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
I don’t need to know all the details—I just need to know that He’s got my back. His presence is here, right now, with me. And His presence, paired with His Word, has created a spring-like renewal in my heart.
Spring-Foreshadowing: Expecting My Father’s Gifts
I hold on tightly to this renewal, because I believe with my whole heart that something amazing is coming. I expect God’s gifts—not as a man would from a genie, but as a child does from a loving Father.
He has cleansed my soul, changed me for the better, and healed me time and time again. When life feels overwhelming, He fills my heart with peace. I know that He is the one doing the work—my part is simply to obey, to trust, and to follow His commands.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” -Isaiah 43:19
The Greatest Gift: Understanding His Love
The most precious lesson I’ve learned this past year is this: God has taught me about love.
REAL. TRUE. LOVE.
Not that “love you and leave you” stuff the world normalizes all the time. And even more than that, He has taught me what it truly means to be unconditionally loved.
I used to be so hard on myself when I made mistakes, because I was used to others being hard on me. But God is different. Yes, He may be disappointed when I sin, but He never bashes me. He never leaves me. He doesn’t turn away when things get tough—He draws me closer.
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love, He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” -Zephaniah 3:17
I can’t even begin to describe what that means to me. It is just simply…everything.
Right now, there is spring in my heart—a renewal, a peace, a sense of expectancy that I never allowed myself to have before. For the first time, I know it’s okay to expect good things. And as I settle into this new season, God is working behind the scenes, preparing something beautiful for His daughter.
I don’t deserve His kindness and love, but I accept it, because I need it—I need Him. And I always will.
He is the spring in my heart.
I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you,
