…”[Could it be that] maybe God will lead you to a kindred spirit at the next place?”

That would be so wonderful; and strangely enough, even before she said that, I was already expecting.

God has been working on me over the past few year—maybe eight—and He’s been doing so much in my heart. He’s been freeing me from old patterns, reshaping my perspective, and preparing me for something beautiful that lies ahead. I can feel it. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but I know it’s all part of His divine plan.

”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” —Jeremiah 29:11

The question reminded me of the promises of God and how faithful He is to keep them. It’s not about a prosperity gospel, where blessings are measured only in material terms, but about having a relationship with Him that transforms and enriches every part of life. When you invite Him into your life and truly walk with Him, He begins to align your path with His will.

”But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” —Matthew 6:33

I’ve started thinking about what it means to obtain and steward His promises. God wants to bless us, but those blessings come with responsibility—to honor Him, to be good stewards, and to share His love with others.

”Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” —Psalm 37:4

For once, i can look forward to the future with real, true hope. Not just hope in what I might receive, but hope in The One who leads me. I’m not afraid anymore. I’m ready to embrace the blessings He’s preparing for me, whatever they may look like.

I am so excited to receive His promises—not just for what they’ll bring into my life, but because they’re another way He shows His love and care. I believe He’s preparing something beyond what I could imagine, and I can’t wait to see it.

”Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…”. —Ephesians 3:20

God’s faithfulness is the most amazing thing—it’s the best. It’s what gives me the strength to trust Him fully and eagerly anticipate what lies ahead for me.
