…Having Another Chance To Make A Difference.

We’re twenty posts in, and here you are, still around and reading. Welcome back to RozieLand! I pray your year has been an enlightening one thus far. Mine sure has been!

I thought about this prompt for a while, and at first, I began reflecting on the track of my daily life. What do I have planned for tomorrow? Is it truly important? But then I asked myself a much bigger question: If Jesus decided to come back today, would any of those plans really matter?

I often ask myself that question to keep the big picture in focus. Most of the time, things that consume us in the moment—our worries, frustrations, or even the tasks we busy ourselves with—aren’t as important as they seem.

The truth is, tomorrow isn’t promised to us. The Bible teaches us to live with understanding—not in fear, but in faith and purpose.

”Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring froth.” —Proverbs 27:1

Rather than dwelling on what tomorrow may or may not hold, I’m choosing to trust God with it and focus on the opportunities I have today. Every moment is a chance to make a difference—whether it’s sharing God’s love, helping someone in need, or simply living out His purpose in the small things.

”Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” —Matthew 6:34

God knows what we need for tomorrow, and He’s already there, preparing the way for us. Our job is to walk faithfully in the present. Today is the only time we are guaranteed, and it’s a precious gift.

”This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” —Psalm 118:24

So, what am I looking forward to? More than anything, I’m looking forward to another opportunity to make a lasting impression for the better. Another chance to forgive, to love, to speak life into someone else, and to try to glorify God in all that I do.

God calls us to redeem the time because the days are fleeting. He wants us to live with urgency—not in a frantic sense, but with a deep sense of purpose and gratitude.

”Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” —Ephesians 5:16

I encourage you to reflect on this too. If tomorrow is given to you, how will you spend it? What impact will you make? And most importantly, will if glorify God?

Let’s not wait for tomorrow to begin living out God’s purpose for our lives. Let’s make today count!

Thanks for stopping through my secret gallery.

Until next time:

I pray many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many blessings over you,

xoxo
